A Good Weekend pt 1

So Saturday night I had a girls night out with my bff. We went to dinner at a Chinese place I haven't been to or had in forever. It was sooo good. OMG I can't wait to go back. Then we went to walmart and got a bday card and gift bag for my gpaps bday the next day and went back to her house to watch Made of Honor. It was a pretty good move! Andrew (daddy) and Ethan had a boys evening. I was almost more excited for the two of them to have adventures out alone than my night. I came home and Ethan was in such a good mood and I could just tell he had a really fun time with daddy. Well I walk in the door expecting to see the house that I spent 2 1/2 hours that morning cleaning and this is what i found..


I said "oh you made forts" thinking cool they REALLY did boy stuff. Stuff that I always imagined the father of my children doing with them. He said proudly "Nope! We did a puppet show!" OMG my heart melted and made me remember why I love Andrew so much and wanted him to be the father of my kids. He is amazing. So I immediately start picking stuff up and get my quilt hung back up on the rack and kiss my husband and thank him for what he did for me that evening.

So the whole family had a great evening in totally different ways. I just wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see them have so much fun together. Andrew said Ethan just laughed and laughed at the puppet show. awww!!!!
